The Exterior of the RV is primarily the sidewalls along with basement / storage area. The primary worry or concern with the exterior is with delamination . This is where the water penetrates into the exterior wall and soaks the wood holding the fiberglass to straight and becomes soft from the trapped water. The water expands and contracts which causes the fiberglass to “bubble” out.
The other issue is with the End Caps (Front and Rear). These will develop cracks and also have a tendency to leak in the corners where they attach to the roof.
